Enrollment
Ivy Academy’s Skillern Elementary is a public charter school serving grades K-3 for the 2024-2025 academic year. We will add a grade each year until we reach 5th grade. All Hamilton County families are eligible to apply. Skillern Elementary does not require entrance testing, and there is no tuition.
Skillern’s application and lottery process are conducted by the Hamilton County Office of School Choice. Applications for 2024-2025 closed for Kindergarten-3rd grade on January 31st of 2024. The lottery results for the upcoming year were announced on February 16th, 2024, and the deadline to accept first round offers is February 23rd, 2024.

If your child was selected during the lottery process and you have accepted your seat at Skillern Elementary, you may begin the enrollment process.
